Marie-Louise Lo  L.Ac.,
is a California Board-Acupuncture and Oriental Medicinecertified
Licensed Acupuncturist and is nationally certified as an NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture.

As a little child, she already had a passion for Chinese medicine and acupuncture with the influence from her aunt, unlce and grandmother who worked as medical doctors (integrated Western medicine and Oriental medicine) and a dentist respectively.  After graduating from high school in Sweden, she attended a Tradtional Oriental Medicine (TCM) short program at the Guangzhou University of  Chinese Medicine in  China.  She continued her studies at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

She worked for many years in international business and has traveled widely in Europe, Asia and Northern America.  Due to the stressful work, she began suffering from many different pain syndromes, insomnia and anxiety.  She came to realize that health is vitally important and that the body needs to be balanced in order to prevent illness.  That realization finally led her to decide to help herself and other people by completing her master's degree in Chinese medicine at Samra University in Los Angeles, the oldest Oriental Medicine University in the United States.  To enhance her clinical education, Marie-Louise completed a year long internship under Dr. Deng Li, MD (integrated Western medicine and Oriental medicine) at Guangzhou Hospital of TCM in China.

Marie-Louise has warmth, enthusiasm, confidence to support her patients in all aspects of their healing process.  She also believes in intergrating acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and lifestyle modifications to heal, prevent illness and create a state of optional health.

Her acupuncture and Chinese medicine expertise includes:
_Pain management: including acute/chronic pain anywhere in the body such as the neck, lower back, knee and joints, as well as anxiety, fatigue, addictions and stress reduction.
